Tampere United spent the break preparing for and playing Intertoto Cup, beat the arrogant(called Tampere Utd short and crappy team before kickoff in the 1st game)Carmarthen Town with no problems whatsoever. Tampere say their main goal at the moment is this Cup and the next game at home vs Kalmar FF(SWE) on Sunday this week so injuries will be avoided and I will not expect 100% commitment in this match. Kujala, Lindström and Heinänen are still injured.
Promoted FC Honka have surprised everyone with the skillful attacking actions, have lost just 1 game out of 8 and without the strange lack of motivation in the game vs KuPS would be at the top now. During the break Honka played 3 games in Finland Cup, lost the latest one vs Inter turku in penalty shootouts. Honka have now rested for 3 days, Tampere played in Wales on Saturday. Honka- defenders Koskinen and Lagerblom will return from injury and come handy as regular defender Heilala is still out. Important midfielder Saarinen will be out for another week.
In my opinion Honka is underestimated and the probability for away win should be closer to 25 than 20%, Tampere have their focus elsewhere and a draw or loss here would not be a disaster.
