Rules:

The competition exists out of 38 rounds. Every six matches, except the last two, are also a period. This means there are six periods:
Period 1: round 1 till 6
Period 2: round 7 till 12
Period 3: round 13 till 18
Period 4: round 19 till 24
Period 5: round 25 till 30
Period 6: round 31 till 36

Winners of a period automatically qualify for play-offs. Only the champions gets direct promotion.
Eight teams from GG-Divisie will play these play-offs: the six period winners, plus the two best ranked teams(without a period).
Number 16 and 17 of Eredivisie(Dutch 1st division) will be added to these eight teams. In the end, we have ten teams to fight for two 1st division places. By equal points, goal difference is the decisive factor.

Play-offs have their own rules. First a fictive standing will be made up, best GG-team being called number 1 and so on. Then the following will happen: First the GGD 8 vs. GGD 5(Match A) and GGD 7 vs. GGD 6(Match B) will play each other.

Match C: winner match A vs. 17th Eredivisie Match D: GGD 4 vs GGD 1. Match E: GGD 3 vs. GGD 2. Match F: winner match B vs. 16th Eredivisie.

Match G: winner match C vs. winner match D. Match H: winner match E vs. winner match F. Winners of these two matches will get promotion.

All play-ff rounds are played in two matches, home and away. By equal points after these two matches, third match will be played. Still equal? Than goal difference will be the decisive factor. Still equal? Extra time and penalties

คือ อันดับ 17 และ 18 ของ ดิวิชั่น 1

Period 1: นัดที่ 1 ถึง 6
Period 2: นัดที่ 7 ถึง 12
Period 3: นัดที่ 13 ถึง 18
Period 4: นัดที่ 19 ถึง 24
Period 5: นัดที่ 25 ถึง 30
Period 6: นัดที่ 31 ถึง 36

และอีกสองทีมที่มีลำดับในลีกที่ดีที่สุด และไม่เคยได้แชมป์พีเรียด
